Fullback Hannah Geesu was the Red Belly Blacks star, scoring three tries in a player of the match performance.

Halfback Sonia Gibson was at her scheming best, while hard-hitting centre Cara Moore also played well.

Others to shine included forward Sammi Bowers, consistent performer Samantha Docherty, young winger Tegan Blucher and Jodie Ahwang.

The Red Belly Blacks led 22-10 at half-time before the Devils came back to ensure the game was in the balance until the final whistle.

For winning the match, the Red Belly Blacks were presented the Healing Yumba Shield by Bowen who proved popular in what was a surprise visit.
