Rainbow faces may paint a record

ONE hundred kids' faces will be painted the seven colours of the rainbow in 10 minutes by two people tomorrow.
EcoFest isn't just about hip- pies or those lucky enough to sport green thumbs, it's about world records.
Sunshine Coast's Marc and Debra Bright are making the journey to Tondoon Botanic Gardens and tomorrow's EcoFest, about 10am, will be the setting for their brilliantly coloured, face painting world record attempt.
The duo know they will never find the pot of gold but Marc said they were confident of getting the world record.
'Last year I called up the Gui- ness Book of World Records and asked if there were any records in this category,' Marc said.
'They said not only were there no records but there wasn't even a face painting cate- gory.
'We did a trial run of the re- cord last year with 77 faces with seven colours in 12 minutes.
'This year we're upping the ante and the two of us are paint- ing 100 children's faces in a rain- bow in 10 minutes.'
