Netball's Falcons strut their stuff

YARALLA Dynamic Falcons warmed up for the upcoming Gladstone Netball division one finals series with a hard-fought 45-27 win over Yaralla Dynamic Owls on Tuesday night.

With the finals series starting next week, both sides exhibited their vast array of skills in an open, entertaining game.

But it was the Falcons, led by Carly Cooke and Lauren Rhodes, who turned the screws when it counted.

To their credit, the Owls never stopped trying, with Sam Dippel and Keisha Street among their better players.

The in-form Falcons now enter the finals series on a nine-match winning streak and could prove tough to beat.
