Nambour church makes heavenly harbour home

By REN LANZONrlanzon@gladstoneobserver.com.au

APPROPRIATELY the old building that has just arrived in Gladstone has a divine view.

The former St Luke's Lutheran Church in Nambour has found a new home on an elevated block in an older suburb of Gladstone.

In its resurrected state it will become a family home. The owners, who would like to retain their privacy at this stage, said they didn't want a new 'soul-less' home.

'We have never wanted a new home because new homes have no heart and no soul,' the husband said.

Naturally, they expect the church has plenty of the latter. Across the road and beyond it the new owners will be blessed with heavenly views.
