Motocross rider has Demon of time

GLADSTONE motocross rider Kane Saul is having `the time of his life' currently touring Australia with the famous Crusty Demons.

For those who have been living under a rock and don't know about the Crusty Demons, well I will tell you who they are.

They are a collection of the world's leading motocross riders who have been packing the largest stadium's not only in Australia, but around the world.

Speaking to The Observer from Sydney where he is warming up for this weekend's show, Saul said he is loving being part of the Crusty Demons tour.

``Mate, it is just fantastic, I am really loving being part of the tour _ the show is getting great support everywhere,'' Saul said.

Saul is thrilling the fa ns with his unique exploits on the tiny 50cc bike.

``It is magic when you perform in front of crowds of more than 20,000 in Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.

``Everyone loves the shows and to have that crowd support lifts you to perform,'' he said.

Saul's signature move is known to many as the `nothing backflip', but believe me there is plenty to it.

``No-one else does it, the move is a backflip and I have no hands or feet on the bike.

``It always gets big applause when I do it, so it is a great feeling when I pull it off,'' he said.
