Kasee plays in cricket double-header



GLADSTONE cricket product Kasee Marxsen is heading off to Adelaide this weekend as her Queensland Fire team opens its 2005-06 Women's National Cricket League season. The Fire meet South Australia in a double-header, with the first match played on Saturday.

THE IN-FORM Brad Pengelly is looking to add to his winners list in Brisbane when he rides Vicarage Gate in today's races at Doomben. The former local hoop has two big chances with Vicarage Gate in the last and Charge D'Affaires (race six) the two to watch.

Walls CQ bound

FORMER AFL premiership coach Robert Walls is headed up to Central Queensland as the key guest of next weekend's AFL Capricornia Juniors camp in Yeppoon. The camp, which will feature juniors from the BITS Saints and Gladstone Mudcrabs, is being held at Cooee Bay resort on November 11 to 13.

Restless victorious
