Hairdresser keen for fest quest challenge

RAISING money and putting on events for the community to enjoy were the reasons twenty-three-year-old hairdresser Rhianne Klease joined the Harbour Festival Quest.

Rhianne said she believed the quest was the perfect chance to help out the local hospital, while ensuring the community had something to enjoy.

'I have chosen the neonatal and maternity unit at the Mater Hospital as my charity and I have set a goal to raise as much money as I can.'

She said each year the quest had been a success with the Gladstone public getting behind the entrants and she was hoping they would do they same for her.

'I have plenty of events being planned, and they certainly will be a chance for the public to get out and enjoy,' Rhianne said.

'My aim for the year is to ensure each and every event is exciting and fun for the community.'
