Funny Money returns to print

THE Observer's Funny Money is back!

To celebrate our annual Modern Living Expo in May, The Observer will give away more than $40,000 in prizes ? including a brand new Toyota Corolla.

The Observer's general manager Peter White said the newspaper would also give away $20,000 in household furniture and electrical goods as part of the promotion.

All readers need to do is start collecting the Funny Money which will begin appearing in The Observer from Monday, April 18.

The idea is simple, the readers that can raise the most Funny Money will win.

The items will be auctioned on Sunday, May 29 as part of The Observer's Modern Living Expo.

The expo is Gladstone's most comprehensive lifestyle exhibition offering residents the chance to check out the latest in technology, cars, homewares, telecommunications and much more.

Mr White said The Observer had joined forces with Bill Robertson Toyota, The Lounge Room and Betta Electrical to provide such a great range of auction items for the event.

There will be heaps of consolation prizes up for grabs on auction day.
