Dynamic Falcons fly to dim Valley Stars

THERE is little doubt tonight's Gladstone Netball Division One qualifying final between Valley Stars and the Yaralla Dynamic Falcons shapes as the match of the season.

The in-form Falcons come into the match on the back of two wins over the classy Stars in their last two meetings.

Falcons coach Tracey Davis has her girls peaking at the right time and they will be tough to toss tonight.

But the Stars are the defending premiers and still finished the regular season on top of the ladder.

Expect the standard of the match to be high with the nucleus of Gladstone's Country Carnival winning team in action. This includes Falcons' Carly Cooke and Melanie Frost and Stars' Tracey Calis and Andrea Williams.

In tonight's elimination semi-final, the Yaralla Dynamic Eagles play the young Yaralla Dynamic Owls.

Eagles come into the match fresh after forfeiting last week and their finals experience could prove crucial in this clash.

The Owls have plenty of talent at their disposal and are certainly good enough to match it with the best.

Both matches are at Memorial Park and start at 7pm.
