BITS continues high-flying form in junior AFL



BITS' high-flying form in the AFL Capricornia junior competition continued with a clean sweep off all grades against Yeppoon at Swan Park on Saturday.

The Saints are currently reigning supreme in the junior ranks and they scored three impressive wins in Round 8 of action.

Matt Dickenson kicked five and Alex Totton four as BITS crushed a disappointing Yeppoon by 71 points in their under-17 clash.

Jake Mostert was outstanding with another best on ground performance, while Anthony Williams and Noah Marsh never stopped running.

BITS unbeaten record in the under-15 competition was never test ed on their way to a 11.9 (75) to 1.2 (8) win. Daniel Harvey kicked four goals in a standout pefrom ance. The best game of the day was the under-13 match which BITS won by 11 points. Brodie Murphy and Daniel Hunt were the Saints best.

At Clinton Park, Glenmore also scored a clean sweep of victories against the gallant Gladstone Mudcrabs. Glenmore just had too many guns in the under-17 match winning by 79 points, 15.11 (101) to 3.4 (22).
