Beach is the coolest place in town

AS THE waves crashed on shore and the sun reflected off the water, locals stripped down to their togs and enjoyed cooling off at Tannum Sands main beach.

The Robinson family enjoyed boogie boarding and cooling off. The family of three from Boyne Island soaked up the sun while they cooled off and enjoyed their first week of the school holidays.

Mother of three Janice Robinson said the family didn't have much planned for the holidays, except enjoying the beach.

'We love living close to the beach, it's a great way to cool off in this hot weather,' she said.
