GLADSTONE motocross rider Kain Saul believes the harbour city will be in for one of the greatest night's ever when the world-famous Crusty Demons hit Marley Brown Oval on May 27.
Saul, who thrills a legion of fans on his Yamaha 50cc mini-bike, returned home recently after a month-long tour in America as a support rider with the Demons.
Therefore, there is no-one better to ask what Gladstone can expect when the world's greatest collection of freestyle motocross riders arrive in town.
"The guys who will be coming here to Gladstone are the best of the best,'' he said.
"Bilko (Australia's best rider) is really popular, while Jimmy Blaze (snowmobile rider) and John Guerder (quad bike rider) are just awesome riders.
"The shows were just massive in America with the crowds who just love the show and for me the tour was a great experience.
"I think everyone in Gladstone will have a great night when the show comes here.''
For Saul, the Gladstone show is set to be a special occasion. The chance to perform in front of a home crowd, including family and friends, is an opportunity he is looking forward to.
"To get the chance in the show (to perform) in front of my family and mates is going to be massive, I can't wait,'' he said.
Saul has perfected a new trick during the tour of America which he is going to pull out at home.
"My signature move is called the double nac-nac,'' he said. "I am the only one doing it at the moment ? the bike goes 90 degrees sideways and I am at 90 degrees as well after we get off the ramp.''
The show will be held at Marley Brown Oval on Saturday, May 27.
Tickets for the show go on sale at www.crusty.com on May 1.
