Answers for flooded Boyne Valley

THE Inspector-General Emergency Management Iain MacKenzie will return to Biloela on Friday to reveal how the Callide Valley flooded to affected residents.

The meeting will take place at the Biloela Anzac Memorial Club at 6.30pm.

The review has reported on the impact to the community from the flooding event on Friday, February 20, the operation of the Callide Dam in the lead-up to the flooding and performance of communications during the event.

In compiling the report 406 Callide Valley residents were interviewed on a range of topics including what warnings they were given.
