Clinton school excited about anniversary fair
GENERATIONS of school principals, teachers, students and their families are excited about Clinton State School's 40-year anniversary School Fair on Thursday.
Current teacher and former pupil Renae Molloy started her own schooling at Clinton State School in 1989.
"A few things have changed...but it's still got that small-school feeling - that community feel," she said.
Ms Molloy said her students were jumping out of their skins with excitement about the fair, as they'd organised a cookbook with recipes donated from teachers past and present that will be available on the day.
The fair will run from 5.30-8pm and will include class stalls, choir and orchestra performances, food for sale at the tuckshop and a display of photographs from 40 years at the school library.
