Snap wedding celebration before baby arrives

EVEN though she was 32 weeks' pregnant, Tiffany Underwood's wedding dress fit her perfectly.

Mrs Underwood, nee Heron, married Jason Underwood on February 22 at Lilyvale Park at Riverstone Rise.

It was a warm, intimate wedding with 17 guests.

"We wanted to do something little," Mrs Underwood said. "It was really, really hot."

The day went smoothly, except for when marriage celebrant Judy Whicker went to the wrong park.

"The boys rang me at 3pm to tell me, so we just did laps around Riverstone Rise until she got there," Mrs Underwood laughed.

The reception was held at Rocks@lt.

"Rocks@lt is the only place we will go to eat since we moved here," she said.

"The food was beautiful."

Mrs Underwood wore a sweetheart-style dress with diamantes on it. She didn't need to alter it.

The rest of the guests wore purple and blue, but they didn't have much time to prepare for the event.

"We didn't tell anyone about the wedding," Mrs Underwood said.

"The wedding was already planned before we told anyone we were engaged.

"So two weeks before the wedding we announced it."

The couple haven't decided where they will go on their honeymoon yet.

"We are having a baby boy so I will have a honeymoon when I take maternity leave," the 24-year-old said.

"We would like to go to Heron Island. We are going to Newcastle to see Jason's family after the baby is born."

Mrs Underwood is due on April 30.

"It hasn't really sunk in that I am pregnant," she laughed. "It is extremely scary and exciting at the same time."

Mr and Mrs Underwood have been together for seven years.

"One time my sister and I went to her friend's house and Jason rocked up there," she said.

"That was it. I don't have a fancy love story.

"It is just plain," Mrs Underwood said.
