GAPDL to woo cruise passengers to harbour cruise

THE sun was shining and the seas were calm as a host of cruise ambassadors and new councillors departed for the traditional coffee cruise on the harbour.

GAPDL had organised the coffee cruise so their cruise ambassadors could excite future P&O pasengers to take the leisurely harbour cruise during their stopover in Gladstone.

It was also an opportunity for our new councillors to get a good look at the LNG plants on Curtis Island as well as a different perspective of the harbour.

For some it was the first time they had been on the cruise and the excitement was palpable.

GAPDL Tourism manager Karen Sweeney it was important for the cruise ambassadors to be able to talk about the experiences available to the P&O passengers coming to Gladstone.
