Alcohol tests follow rollover on M'boro Hervey Bay Rd

AN ALLEGED drink-driver was taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash at Nikenbah on Monday afternoon.

The 29-year-old managed to climb out of his car after it overturned near the intersection of Maryborough Hervey Bay Rd and Chapel Rd about 4.15pm.

He allegedly returned a positive reading at the scene and was taken to hospital for further testing.

No charges had been laid on Monday night.
