Central State School carnival fun for everyone

RIDES and stalls galore made Saturday's Carnival at Central State School fun for all ages.

The streets were packed with not a park to be found as children led their parents through the gates of the school.

A gold coin donation was all that was needed to gain an afternoon of great fun and excitement.

From stalls that sold fragrant perfume to ones that sold fairy floss candy there was something for all.

For Debbie Ferguson and her friend Colleen Bullock, it was the aroma of fragrant wax from the first stall that caught their noses.

"I love coming down because of all the stalls, and I enjoy supporting the school.

"We love coming down to these events, we come every time it's on," Ms Bullock said.

"When you work all day it's great to be able to catch up with all your friends," Ms Ferguson added.

As for the kids, the highlight of the day was the giant slide.
