In the kitchen with... Kristal who loves Thermomix

Occupation: I own Delicio Organics at Tannum Sands.
When did you have your first cooking experience? My first memory would have to be watching my grandma cook. She was Hungarian and I would watch her make meals from scratch. I use to love her paprika chicken.
Biggest kitchen inspiration? The Thermomix. It's changed my life. It's so easy to use and I can cook anything with it. I make cakes, sauces, wraps and dry roasts with it. It's really made a difference with my cooking in that I can use more fresh products than store-bought stuff.
What can't you cook? I don't think there is anything I can't cook, but I'm not say I make everything perfectly.
Favourite meal? I've got a sweet tooth and I love ice cream. I try to avoid things with refined sugar in it so I make my own ice cream out of frozen bananas and then add chocolate and macadamia nuts or peanut butter.
First successful meal you cooked? Besides the cakes I think our wraps are a big hit. We grind flaxseeds and linseeds and then add zucchini, turmeric or pumpkin and spread the mixture on dehydration trays to make the wrap itself. But it's all about getting the right timing otherwise they'll be too tough.
Least favourite food? McDonald's
Best ingredient? Either cashews or bananas. I love cashews because they are so versatile. You can make ice cream, sauces, cream and milk out of them.
Worst ingredient? Refined sugar. You don't need it. Sugar can be replaced with anything.
