600 primary students take a stand against domestic violence

AS a representative and member of the Coordinated Community Response to Domestic and Family Violence, CCRDFV, we went along to Gladstone West State School (Tuesday) morning where they had a free dress day in purple to support the Not Now Not Ever Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign for the month of May.

Mrs Burrell, principal of the school, gathered 600 plus students and staff to the oval for a photo opportunity.

The whole congregation then chanted Not Now Not Ever which echoed across the oval.

Gladstone West State School is proud to show their support, going purple for awareness, and we, the CCRDFV are proud to have been able to be a part of the experience with them.
