Show worker bitten on ear

A TOWNSVILLE show worker had his ear bitten last night by another man outside the showgrounds.

Police were called to the scene about 3am this morning however when they arrived the offender - who was also a show worker - had left.

No complaints were made to police.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment.
