Anti-vaccination campaigner's Aussie tour in ruins
CONTROVERSIAL United States anti-vaccination campaigner Sherri Tenpenny's upcoming Australian tour is in tatters after all but two of the 11 venues hosting her seminars have cancelled her bookings.
Brisbane-based anti-vaccine campaigner Stephanie Messenger has invited Ms Tenpenny to give a series of six seminars in March titled Healthy Lifestyles Naturally.
The seminars are scheduled for Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Two venues, an Asian restaurant in Brisbane and Rydges Hotel in Adelaide, are still scheduled to host Ms Tenpenny's seminars.
Ms Tenpenny, who is the author of Saying No to Vaccines, is heading to Australia with another controversial US anti-vaccination campaigner, Norma Erickson and Melbourne homeopath Dr Isaac Golden.
Pro-vaccine lobby group Stop the Australian (Anti) Vaccination Network took to social media urging its members to start a letter-writing campaign to politicians and venues hosting the seminars.
