50yo charged with drink driving three times over limit

POLICE have charged a 50-year-old Gladstone male with drink driving after he was caught driving his vehicle while allegedly over three times the legal limit.

Tests conducted showed the male allegedly had an alcohol level of 0.197%.

The man was located at around 9.15am in the Gladstone CBD after community members identified the vehicle's manner of driving and contacted police.

He will face court on December 15.

Residents can report any incident of suspected drink driving to police on 131 444.
