'Bad choices' result in $500 fine for drunk
A DRUNK swallowed more than he expected when he copped a $500 fine.
Kyle Davidson is out of pocket after fronting Gladstone Magistrates Court on September 9 to face drunk and disorderly charges.
On August 17, police patrolling Gladstone CBD noticed a man restrained by security guards out the front of Central Lane Hotel.
Davidson was repeatedly asked to leave the venue.
Davidson allegedly hit a security guard in the chest with his elbow.
Police then arrested him on one count of drunk or disorderly in premises and took him to the watch-house.
The court heard the behaviour was a mixture of "bad choices" that Davidson claimed was "out of character".
Magistrate Penelope Hay. handed him a $500 fine and a six month order banning him from the Central Lane Hotel.
