Gladstone 500 draws crowd

IT was the last time for the year the group would gather on the green at the Gladstone Bowls Club.

More than 40 people turned out for the final Gladstone 500 event for the year yesterday.

It marked the end of what has been a good season.

Gladstone Ladies Bowls Club president Faye Ford said the break would give everyone a chance to freshen up and be ready for the new year.

She said the Gladstone 500 was set to start again in February.

Player Dave Olsen said the last match was an enjoyable day for all involved.
