YOUR GUIDE: Ten things to do in Gladstone this weekend
1 Home and Leisure Expo
The Observer's Home and Leisure Expo is held on Sunday from 10am - 3pm at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention centre. Come along and browse the stalls from Gladstone businesses. Entry is by a gold coin donation, funds raised will go to the Cancer Council.
2 Wedding Expo
The Gladstone Wedding and Special Events Expo will be held from 10am - 2pm at the Gladstone Events Centre at the Yaralla Sports Club. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on entry. There will be specialty stall holders, fashion parades, giveaways and more.
3 Million Paws Walk
The Friends of RSPCA Gladstone's Million Paws Walk is held on Sunday at Canoe Point, Tannum Sands.
4 See The Black Sorrows
Catch some classic Aussie blues from The Black Sorrows tomorrow night. They will play at the Harvey Road Tavern on Saturday night from 8pm. Tickets are $29 and can be purchased from moshtix.com.au.
5 Vinyl Appreciation Society
Crow Street Creative will host a night market tonight from 6 - 9pm. There will be handmade jewellery, clothing, food and art displays on offer. Live music will also keep the crowd entertained.
6 Sunday Session with Ken
Flynn MP Ken O'Dowd will be at the Tannum Sands Hotel on Sunday night from 6pm with five other LNP Senate candidates. People can ask questions in a low key environment.
7 KMart Markets
The KMart Markets will be held on Sunday from 6am - noon.
8 Library Square Markets
Pick up some fresh produce or handmade goods at Saturday's Library Square Markets, 7am - 1pm.
9 Pop up enterprises
Head to Library Square from 3 - 8pm today or tomorrow to see the Pop-Up street markets, an initiative by Gladstone Regional Council.
10 Basketball home game
Watch the Gladstone Power at their home stadium this Sunday night. It's their first home game for the season, where they will take on Toowoomba. The men's match starts at 6pm at Kev Broome Stadium and women's at 8pm.
