27-year-old woman dies after being hit by car at Morayfield

POLICE are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car and died at Morayfield last night.

Initial investigations indicate the incident occurred on the Bruce Highway near Uhlmann Road around 8.50pm.

The 27-year-old Griffin woman died at the scene.

The driver of the car involved was not physically injured.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
