17 yo female taken to hospital after campfire burns to feet

A 17-year-old female has been taken to Gladstone Base Hospital after receiving burns to her feet from standing on a campfire at a Miriam Vale campground.

A QAS spokesperson said the teenager was taken by her mum to the Miriam Vale ambulance station approximately 2 hours ago, where she was then taken by ambulance to hospital.

We are still yet to hear how severe the burns were.
 


She is in a stable condition.
