The driver of this truck was killed in the smash near Ilbilbie.
THERE has been another tragic death on our roads.
Police have identified the truck driver who died in yesterday's two-truck crash on the Bruce Highway at Ilbilbie as a Brisbane man, aged 31.
Police said the driver of the other truck was a Boyne Island man, aged 53.
Two trucks, one a fuel tanker, collided about 7.45am, about 4.3km south of the Ilbilbie service station, which is 260km north of Rockhampton.
The crash occurred when one of the dual trailers of the 53-year-old's truck jackknifed and the truck the Brisbane man was driving ran into it.
Police Media said the road was expected to be reopened by 9 o'clock last night.
Investigations into the crash were continuing.
