A MAN who drunkenly attempted to flash his penis at police has been fined $900.

Jason Russ Tones appeared in Gladstone Magistrate Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to three charges, including committing public nuisance.

The court heard how police were called to attend the Port Curtis Hotel on December 22 last year after four males refused to leave.

Of the four, Tones was said to be the most intoxicated.

Police prosecutor, Nina Sulzor shared examples of his drunken behaviour with the court.

"He unzipped his fly and attempted to expose his penis to police before a friend stopped him," she said.

"He also fell down on the ground and began wrestling with one of his friends."

Tones told Magistrate Russell Warfield it was a case of a celebration gone wrong.

"We were only meant to be having fun and then it just got out of hand," he said.

Tones is banned from attending the Port Curtis Hotel for six months.
