LOOK out Gladstone - everyone's favourite little red monster is on his way.
Elmo and his Sesame Street friends are coming to Gladstone as part of the brand new show, Sesame Street Presents Elmo's World Tour.
The musical show will tour extensively throughout regional and metropolitan Queensland in March and April and will include a stopover in Gladstone on April 14 for a live stage show at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre.
Featuring classic Sesame Street songs alongside catchy new tunes, Sesame Street Presents Elmo's World Tour will delight fans of all ages.
"The show will see the Sesame Street gang going on an adventure through imagination learning how people sing and dance and say hello in different places around the world," Gladstone Entertainment Centre marketing co-ordinator Ashlee Hansen said.
Watch the Sesame Street gang - Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Grover, Zoe and Cookie Monster - use the letters of the alphabet to navigate a voyage through imagination that sees them visiting China, Zambia, France, India and Australia.
Elmo and his friends have fun learning how people sing and dance and say hello in different places around the world, but things don't go to plan when Cookie Monster eats a letter of the alphabet.
Along the way, audiences will also delight in hearing a sensational tale from The Count and will get to help backpacking rubber-duckies find a place to stay with Bert and Ernie.
The show has been made possible after Sesame Workshop granted Life Like Touring the rights to develop, write and tour a brand new Sesame Street stage show in Australia.
Tickets for the show are on sale from the Gladstone Entertainment Centre box office or by phoning 4972 2822.
