Martial arts group to celebrate

MIXED Martial Arts has hit the big time, with the UFC gaining popularity in Australia and Hollywood bringing out movies surrounding the sport.

But in Gladstone MMA is not a new concept, 2012 will see the Gladstone Martial Arts Academy celebrate 15 years of operation.

To start off the year the club moved premises over the Christmas break and is now located in the back of the old Kubby House building next door to the bowling alley on Benaraby Rd.

Hoping to attract more people to the sport the Gladstone Martial Arts Academy are holding their sign on this weekend.

Offering not only huge discounts at Saturday's Sign On Day, the club will also be giving away loads of prizes to celebrate their 15 years, including an incredible free 15-month training membership.

The sign up day will be held at the Gladstone Martial Arts new location tomorrow from 10am to noon.
