EVERY rev-heads’ dream has arrived.
After months of planning the inaugural Camco Group MotorMania CQ is in town.
The 10-day event begins today and runs until July 25.
Boasting 25 events held by more than 20 different clubs between Gladstone, Rockhampton and Yeppoon, MotorMania has everything for people with a love of all things engines.
The event launch will be held in Gladstone at CQUniversity’s Leo Zussino Building tonight from 5pm.
V8 drivers Tony D’Alberto, Tim Slade, Jack Perkins and Ryal Harris will be present alongside the All Hours Glass Grid Girls and displays from motorsport clubs.
The free event launch will include the Grid Girl final where eight girls will compete for the title of the All Hours Glass Miss MotorMania CQ.
An exclusive canapé function with the V8 drivers begins at 7.30pm.
Pit Passes for the night can be purchased from Gladstone AutoPro for $35 with proceeds going to local hospitals.
But the real action begins tomorrow as six events start, including the annual Jono Porter Memorial Motocross, TAG 125 Enduro Karts, QRC Rally, mud racing day, specialist swap and car boot sale and the first day of the Rockhampton Motor Show.
