Vote for top business

VOTING is now open for the Queensland's Smart Business Awards, which will recognise the state's top businesses and entrepreneurs.

Premier Anna Bligh said Queensland is home to many great Australian and internationally renowned businesses.

“We're asking Queenslanders and the business community to nominate these companies for a Smart Business Award,” she said.

“There are so many fields in which Queensland companies are leading the way - primary industries, transportation, biopharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, professional services, tourism and food production.”

There are six categories which businesses can be nominated for, including one overall category.

Voting is open until September 30 via www.smartbusinessawards.qld.gov.au.
