SATURDAY


Biloela Markets in the Park
BILOELA Markets in the Park offer a wide variety of stalls for everyone to enjoy. Come and enjoy the delicious fresh produce, try your green thumb with huge variety of plants, and find that special piece of jewellery, clothing, accessories and hand crafted goodies, from 9.30am to 2pm at Barimis Park, Callide St, Biloela.

Forest Springs Grand Opening Family Fun Day
FOREST Springs is the location to be this weekend to enjoy their Grand Opening Family Fun Day! Head down from 9am - 2pm for face painting, jumping castles, sausage sizzle, and give aways at the corner of Dixon Drv and Forest Springs Drv.

Country Music At Its Finest
DON Costa is one of Australia's favourite Country Music entertainers and is currently on his regional Oz tour. Don will play at the Bororen Hall. The night will kick off from 5.30pm with a BBQ, raffles, lucky door prize and more. A bar will be operating throughout the night. Tickets are $15 and children under 15 years admitted free. The hall is located on Dawson Hwy in Bororen.

Morning tea and market
COME and have a cuppa, cake, sausage sizzle and browse through a variety of goods for sale at St Saviour's Hall, 70 Auckland St from 8am - 12 noon. For more information please contact the Parish Office 4972 4754.

Acoustic JHAMS
JHAM Bar Gladstone presents 'Acoustic JHAMS', a morning of music by local artists each Saturday from 9am-12pm. Sit and have a coffee and watch the world go by while enjoying music by Animal Throwdown, White Room and Rob (Country) Hopkins at JHAM Bar, 117 Toolooa St.

Monster cent sale
A MONSTER cent sale will be held at the Mt Larcom Town Hall. Doors open at 1pm for a 2pm start. Admission is $2 for adults and 50 cents for children. There will be lucky door prizes, raffles and an afternoon tea.

Cooking class
A NOURISHING Sustenance cooking class incorporating GAPS and paleo principles will be held on at 1.30pm at Integrative Wellbeing Solutions, 94 Glenlyon St, Gladstone. Please bring containers for your take-home samples. Cost is $20. To book your spot phone 0400 739 489.

Good Times on Q
LOOKING for good tunes, good vibes and good company? Good Times on Q has all this and more and this round will include live music from Mason Rack, along with a local supporting artist. Dinner and dancing at Gladstone's most unique venue including a two-course gourmet barbecue, plus the bar will be open all night. This event is strictly 18+ only at Quoin Island Retreat. Cost: $85 includes return transfers, entertainment and a barbecue-style meal. Accommodation available for $150 per couple per night including breakfast. Boats depart 5pm and 6pm from Gladstone. 14th Annual Old Wheels in Motion
THE 14th Annual Old Wheels In Motion Rally and Swap Meet is proudly hosted by the Callide Dawson Machinery Preservation Club Inc. with many displays and demonstrations as the Club celebrates the pioneering spirit of this great nation. View blacksmithing, spinning and weaving, post splitting, heavy horses, bag sewing and loading demonstrations, the tractor pull, tractor balancing, motorkhana events, live entertainment, the traditional grand parade and much, much more. Rotart Kmart Markets
THE  Rotary Club of Gladstone Midday Markets has up to 120 under-cover stalls each month - from food, coffee, cakes, jewellery, hand made soaps and plants to kids toys, clothes and bric-a-brac as well as entertainment from local artists. The markets go from 7.30am to 12.30pm at Kmart, on the corner of Dawson Rd and Philip St.

Come and Try Motorkhana
THE Central Coast Car Club is holding a "come and try" Motorkhana at the end of the Benaraby drag strip. Book in and scrutineering from 8.30am, event starts at 10am. There will be 12 tests. A Motorkhana is a low speed event to test the driver's skill with the ability to control a vehicle and the vehicle's manoeuvrability around a set course. Vehicles are divided into classes depending on their wheel base, with cars trying for the fastest in class. For more details phone Keith on 0418 887 611.

Gladstone Harley Owners Group - Roll of the Dice Run
THE Gladstone Harley Owners Group welcomes all bike makes and models to their annual Roll of the Dice Fund Run. Registration is $25 per person and it begins at 8am at Harbour City Harley Davidson, 85 Hanson Rd, with a $2 sausage sizzle and free tea and coffee. Steak burger lunch is provided and refreshments will be available. Rides will hit the road at 10am to compete for almost $2,000 in prizes!

Markets in the park
THE Miriam Vale Lions Club invite you to the Miriam Vale Markets from 7am to midday with a variety of stalls at the Blomfield St location. Fancy something to eat? Tempt your taste buds with a sizzling fillet steak, sausage or bacon burger.
