Video: Person flung overboard as boat loses it on swell

 

FOOTAGE of a boat tipping over and a person being flung overboard has been captured by Tannum Sands aerial photography business Queensland Aerial.

Business co-owners Cory Jeacocke and partner Sarah McGuire were flying their drone over Seventeen Seventy when they inadvertently filmed the incident.

Co-owner Darren Jeacocke said they hadn't realised what they had captured until they got the footage back home.

"It was a total accident," he said. "They didn't realise until we got it back and uploaded it." 

Business is going well for the new entrepreneurs, who launched their aerial photography and videography business in June.

They took footage of the family fun day at Forest Springs on Sunday, giving those attending a different perspective on their day.
