POLICE were called to the scene of a head-on collision yesterday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash took place about 4pm on the corner of Breslin and Boles Sts.
There were three people in one vehicle and two in the other.
A Gladstone police representative said a woman had been transferred to Gladstone Base Hospital with head injuries.
Another person was also taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Gladstone police, firefighters and paramedics all attended the scene of the collision.
Traffic in the area was delayed for about 30 minutes before easing about 4.30pm.
Police reminded motorists to drive carefully in peak hour traffic when there were more vehicles on the road.
