A MAN with suspected neck injuries was airlifted from Cedarvale Rd in Ubobo around 5pm on Wednesday after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a four-wheel drive.
The 49-year-old man was trapped underneath the four-wheel-drive for some time, before bystanders used a car jack to raise the vehicle and remove the man.
The accident scene was 20km west of Miriam Vale.
The RACQ Capricorn Rescue Helicopter arrived at the scene shortly afterwards and took the patient to Rockhampton with suspected neck, chest and back injuries.
The man was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
