Third dog found dead
POLICE are continuing their investigations into violent acts of animal cruelty in Gladstone, following the bashing of two dogs on Sunday afternoon.
Yesterday Friends of RSPCA discovered the body of another dog off Gladstone-Monto Rd in Calliope.
Injuries indicate the dog died after being beaten.
On Sunday two dogs were found malnourished, with life-threatening injuries.
Friends of RSPCA president Judy Whicker said the dogs found on Sunday were recovering at the Gladstone Vet Clinic.
Mrs Whicker said she'd been inundated with donations from the general public to help aid the recovery of the injured dogs.
