Stabbing suspect still at large

ONE man has been charged in relation to a stabbing.

Police were still seeking another suspect this afternoon.

A 29-year-old man was stabbed in his Shaw St residence about 10.15pm last night.

A man, aged 29, has been charged with entering a dwelling with intent to wound.

He will appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The two men allegedly forced entry into the residence and proceeded to assault the man.

During the struggle, the man sustained a stab wound to his left arm.

A Queensland Police Service representative said the injury was not life threatening.

The man was taken in a private car to the Gladstone Base Hospital.
