TODAY'S Rosella Park race day winds up racing at Ferguson Park for the year, but this is an opportunity for Gladstone Turf Club and the community to support an amazing group of children at Rosella Park School.

The effort put in by parents, teachers and volunteers to maintain a school for these kids that is modern and suitable to their needs is exhausting and expensive and deserves help.

Gates open at 11am and the entry fee is $15. Every gate entry (including online sales) will see $2 go to Rosella Park School to assist them with new equipment and facilities for the kids who attend.

This race meeting has become a favourite with businesses and locals at which to stage their Christmas parties or family "get togethers".

Volunteers from Rosella Park will be making their way around during the day, so please give generously (especially if you have backed a few winners.)

The next race meeting is on January 12, 2013. This will be Magic Millions Ladies' Day.

Every lady will receive a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival.

Fashions on the Field will be one not to miss. The prizes for best dressed are the biggest prizes ever offered, so ladies, start thinking about summer fashions between now and January 12.

Table and marquee bookings are available online at www.gladstoneturfclub.com.au.

Bookings are limited, so get in early. If you would like to save yourself the line-up, you can pre-purchase gate entry online as well. From January, you will be able to pre-purchase your drink tickets from the ticket booth at Gladstone Turf Club on the Friday before race day. The ticket booth will open from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

For memberships go to gladtsoneturfclub.com.au.Memberships close on December 31.

Details: email turfglad@bigpond.com.
