Rockhampton visitor centre receives a make-over
ROCKHAMPTON residents may have noticed something different about the Capricorn Spire Visitor Information Centre on Gladstone Rd.
The centre has undergone a makeover thanks to a joint project between Capricorn Enterprise and Rockhampton Regional Council.
Officially back open for business this week, the new look centre has been well received by visitors and locals alike.
"The Spire Visitor Information Centre is often the first impression visitors receive when they arrive in Rockhampton, so it is very important that this building is extremely well presented," said Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll.
The Spire Visitor Information Centre is operated by Capricorn Enterprise and 35 volunteers.
It's open seven days per week from 9am-5pm.
