R.M.Williams opens new store in Gladstone next week

R.M.Williams will open its new Gladstone store in Goondoon St on Monday.

The store, at 2/93 Goondoon St, will sell a range of R.M.Williams footwear, clothing and accessories for men, women and children.

The Gladstone store is the latest addition to the company's retail network which now has 69 stores, including two international stores in London and New York, and Myer concessions throughout Australia.

R.M.Williams general manager retail Mitchell Foster said the new Gladstone store was an important development for the company and demonstrated the ongoing demand for the brand in regional Australia.

"The hardworking nature of the Gladstone community and the surrounding regions, with strong manufacturing and agricultural industries, makes Gladstone a key location for an R.M.Williams store," Mr Foster said.

"We know that we already have many loyal RM customers in Gladstone and we look forward to welcoming many more when we open our doors.

"We believe that Gladstone will be an integral part of our retail network and are looking forward to building our presence in the city, and developing even stronger relationships through our support of the community and local events."

An invitational VIP launch event will be held at the store on Wednesday, April 2.

The store's opening hours are Monday-Wednesday and Friday 9am-5.30pm, Thursday 9am- 7.30pm, Saturday 9am-3.30pm and Sunday 9am-2pm.
