THE Mt Larcom and District Show Society hosts the only agricultural show in the area, also known as the "friendly show".

Those attending will see a genuine country show with horses competing in showjumping as well as the elegant hacks and Clydesdales.

There also will be stud cattle, show dogs, trade displays and market stalls, ute muster, chainsaws, and the sideshow alley.

One of the features of the show is the Ballee Farm Animal Nursery where people can cuddle a lamb or gently hold a chicken.

On Saturday night there will be horse sporting events and fireworks, before patrons enjoy a drink at the bar and listen to a band play.

The show runs from 8am on Saturday until 3pm on Sunday. Entry is $10 adults and $5 children aged 5-14.

The showgrounds are on Narrows Rd, Mt Larcom.
