IF YOU like running, and you like Gladstone, it wouldn't make sense to miss the Botanic to Bridge fun run, would it?
Here is a bunch of people who like Gladstone and are very, very serious about their running.
The Road Runners running club meets once a week for a jog (or gallop) around town. They enter all sorts of running events, but one of their favourites is the Botanic to Bridge.
Road Runners' president Brett Stevens said the group was looking forward to the event, partly because it was a Gladstone running event they didn't have to organise themselves.
On top of that, Mr Stevens said the community atmosphere on the day was fantastic.
If you want to join in the fun on August 19, you had better hurry up and get your registration in soon.
There is an 8km event and a 3km event, so you can't complain there isn't something for everyone.
If you are wondering whether you can last the full 3km, spare a thought for the Road Runners, who have run so many 42km marathons they don't even know if they will be able to stop after 8km.
