A MAN on a bulk carrier 80km offshore from Gladstone was in a stable condition yesterday after being airlifted to Rockhampton for treatment.
The 47-year-old man was treated on the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue flight by an intensive-care paramedic and doctors.
An RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue spokesperson said the rescue outfit was called at 2.12pm on Wednesday to transport the man, who had a "medical condition", to Rockhampton Base Hospital.
No further information was available late yesterday.
