Motorcycle crash claims life
A 25-year-old Irish National has lost his life as a result of a motorcycle accident which occurred on Sunday afternoon.
The man was one of a recreational group of motorcycle riders travelling north along Awoonga Dam Road around 3.30pm when his motorcycle left the road surface and fell down an embankment.
Doctors were rushed to the scene along with emergency services.
The man was transported to the Gladstone Base Hospital with serious injuries but unfortunately passed away a short time later.
