Me and My Ride: Harley Davidson Destroyer

SCOTT Fulloon's Harley Davidson V-Rod Destroyer is one of only about 30 in Australia, a limited edition bike from 2006.

In fact, only 636 were manufactured worldwide, and Fulloon's particular bike was sold out of a New York dealership.

Having bought the Destroyer broken, Fulloon spent four months pulling it back into shape to ride.

Produced purely to be a drag racing bike, Fulloon does exactly that with his machine at every opportunity.

"I did a complete motor rebuild, all stock," he said.

"You can go to town. I have tried to keep it exactly the same as they made it in 2006, just stock."

From there, he simply wants to ride the Harley Davidson and keep it in working order.

His is heading out for Saturday's CQDRA fifth round at Benaraby Raceway.

"We are sitting fourth on the ladder at the moment, I race with Loony Hoons Drag Racing," he said.

"Being a Harley Davidson dealer, I can say it is exactly what they made for us."
