Gladstone emergency services busy

SO far today emergency services have been called to two vehicle crashes and a false alarm for a fire.

Police recieved a call today about a two vehicle accident on Nyarla Rd, Gladstone at 3.03pm.

There were no injuries reported.

One vehicle was towing a trailer at the time of the crash. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Shortly after, police were called to a four vehicle accident outside the Rocky Glen Hotel at 3.28pm.

This incident on the Dawson Hwy blocked one of the lanes of traffic for a period of time.

Queensland Fire and Rescue attended an alarm at the Glen Eden nursing home around 5am yesterday morning.

Luckily it was a false alarm, with no fire in sight.
