Brisbane flight delayed as plane breaks down

UPDATE 1PM: A flight that was due to leave Gladstone at 6.45am today still hasn't left the tarmac.

The estimated time of departure is now 1.55pm.

A flight due to leave at 2.20pm to Brisbane also has been delayed, by 35 minutes at this stage.

EARLIER: A flight from Gladstone to Brisbane has been delayed this morning after an aircraft reportedly broke down.

The Qantaslink flight, due to leave Gladstone at 6.45am, was initially delayed until 11am, but now won't leave until at least 12.30pm.

It's believed at least five people will miss international connections because of the issue.

Another flight due to depart at 10.50am is listed to depart on time, at this stage.
